Why I love board games for what happens around them — conversations, decisions, laughter and people getting together.

A platform and a card game exploring new ways of bringing people together around a table. The project combines web development, game design and experimentation with mechanics and digital experiences.

#One idea, two paths

• Web platform — an application in development, with React, TypeScript and Vite on the frontend and Java, Spring Boot and PostgreSQL on the backend.
• Card game — its own identity and rules: characters, cards, actions, tables, special effects and balance testing, plus an experimental digital implementation of the mechanics.

#Where it stands

In development and experimentation: approved visual elements, evolving rules, physical prototypes and a technical base for both the platform and the digital game. There is still a lot to validate — rule clarity, match balance and user experience.
